Hey! Made an account on here to review this. First, wanna say, fun game! It feels like something I'd play on newgrounds or armor games back in the day, and that made me pretty happy. Some feedback would be, and this is all just subjective not a "RAH YOU NEED TO DO THIS" situation: 1: The tutorial/quests are pretty easy to miss! Might want to make them a little more up front, at least at the start. 2: It feels like the game shows all of its cards way too early, for me at least. The "trade the unexpected" is a fun, cool novelty, but that novelty fades when I get constant exposure to it from the very start. Maybe have us start with some more normal stock options, and then add weirder and weirder ones as the game progresses? 2.5: Could be cool to link stock unlocks to stat increases or milestones, like, you unlock the dinosaurs after getting enough strength, birds after moving enough, etc. Spitballing here, just something that came to mind! 3: The stock menu constantly taking up a large portion of the screen makes the game feel harder to spend time with, and makes me feel kinda like I'm playing a tech demo? Maybe placing them in some sort of closable dropdown menu could help? To reiterate, just making some suggestions here off of my game experience!! I'm sure that got across but I wanna make sure since this is something you put a lot of time and care into that I treat it with care and make sure my intentions are clear!! :D
Thanks for the feedback! It's definitely loosely based on a super old web flash game called stickrpg I used to play in middle school. Stocks unlocking linked to certain progression is planned so I'm glad you agree! Cheers thanks for playing I'm constantly updating so come back in a few days/weeks to see how it progresses!
